BTS 7635

The hybrid sugar beet BTS 7635 is a high-yielding variety developed by Betaseed, suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions. The plant is of medium height with green leaf blades and a medium-length, wide-conical root. This hybrid is characterized by high planting density — up to 18,235 plants per hectare — which contributes to maximum yield.

BTS 7635 exhibits high resistance to diseases such as anthracnose, powdery mildew, and fusarium, as well as moderate resistance to cercospora and powdery mildew. Resistance to root rots is rated as moderate, although the hybrid is susceptible to root maggots. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety ensures stable yields even under conditions of increased disease risk.

The average yield of the hybrid is 519 centners per hectare in the Central Chernozem region and 572 centners per hectare in the North Caucasus region, with sugar content in the roots reaching 17.8% and 17.1% respectively. The high quality of beet juice and normal sugar content make BTS 7635 an attractive choice for agricultural production oriented towards obtaining high-quality raw material for the sugar industry.
