Rye KWS Motivator

KWS Motivator winter rye is a high-quality winter rye variety developed by German breeders of the company KWS SAAT SE. This medium-maturing variety has a vegetation period of 300 to 330 days and plant height of 110 to 140 cm. Due to its high tillering intensity and ability to regrow in spring, the variety demonstrates stable and high yields, reaching a potential of 120 c/ha under high agronomic standards. The seeding rate is 2.0-2.5 million seeds per hectare, 1000-grain weight varies from 33 to 40 grams, and crude protein content is within 10-11%. KWS Motivator is characterized by high winter hardiness, resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, yellow rust, and fusarium head blight, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. The variety is recommended for cultivation in regions 7 and 9, and successfully adapts to a wide range of zones in the Volga region, Ural, and Turkistan area. Its ecological plasticity and high productive tillering coefficient make it a reliable choice for farmers aiming for maximum yield from their crops. KWS pays special attention to breeding work aimed at creating rye hybrids with improved characteristics, including high yield, disease resistance, and adaptation to different climatic conditions. This allows reducing cultivation costs and increasing the feed value of the product. KWS Motivator is an example of such modern breeding achievements, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest, which is especially important for agriculture in regions with variable weather conditions.
