URALS CHAMPION

The rosehip variety "Ural Champion" is a medium-sized shrub with dense, straight canes, which have single thorns located on the lower part of the stem. The bush has a compact shape and medium height, leaves of medium size and a rich green color. During the flowering period, the plant is covered with large bright buds, giving it a decorative appearance.

The fruits of this variety differ in large size (about 3–5 grams) and a light red color. They have an oval-round shape with a long pedicel and no hair. The taste of the berries is sour-sweet, and the sugar content reaches about 22%, acidity - about 2.7%. The most valuable property of rosehip is the high content of vitamin C (approximately 2700–2650 mg/100 g), which makes it an excellent source of antioxidants.

"Ural Champion" is distinguished by high yield, reaching 1.3–1.7 kg of berries from one bush, and resistance to low temperatures. The variety also shows good resistance to powdery mildew and rust, and its late maturation period allows the use of berries for technical purposes. Thanks to these characteristics, the plant is suitable for growing in various climatic conditions.
