Description
Voroncovsky 3 – an early-maturing variety intended for industrial processing. The bush is of medium height with a weakly spreading structure, medium-length canes that are light brown in color with drooping tips. Thorns are located only in the lower part of the stem, situated at an obtuse angle, and the flowers have a pale pink hue.
The berries are oval-elongated in shape, red in color with an orange-red skin of medium density. The average berry weight is 1.9 g (in the range of 1.2–1.8 g), making them suitable for juice, compote, and extract production. The high concentration of vitamin C in the fruits enhances their value both in medicine and in healthy nutrition.
Voroncovsky 3 demonstrates good winter hardiness and prefers fertile, drained soils: loams, sandy loams, chernozems. The optimal pH is a slightly acidic range of 5.5–6.5. The variety is characterized by high yields (approximately 63 c/ha) and is suitable for cultivation in sunny locations with good soil drainage.
