Rosehip Rubinovyi Dar

Biological Potential and Breeding Value

The 'Rubinoviy Dar' rosehip variety from the 'Plantex' breeding nursery is a prime example of specialized selection focused on high concentrations of biologically active compounds. Unlike wild species, this variety is optimized for modern horticultural requirements, where stability in fruiting and resistance to pathogens are the primary metrics of success.

Technological Aspects of Vegetation

• Shrub Architecture: The variety forms a compact, well-foliated canopy, which simplifies agrotechnical tasks, including pruning and phytosanitary treatments.
• Metabolic Intensity: 'Plantex' breeding efforts have resulted in increased bioavailability of the vitamin complex within the fruits, which is critical for the food processing industry.
• Adaptive Mechanisms: The crop demonstrates superior winter hardiness and drought tolerance, typical of Ukrainian climatic zones, thereby reducing the dependency on supplementary irrigation systems.

From a technical standpoint, 'Rubinoviy Dar' is characterized by a robust root system that ensures efficient nutrient transport. This not only dictates plant viability but also influences fruit flesh density, which is essential for maintaining product quality during both mechanized and manual harvesting. The high concentration of Vitamin C and carotenoids makes this variety a highly sought-after raw material asset for the pharmaceutical and food sectors.
