Rosehip MICHURINSKY ANNIVERSARY

Biochemical Profile and Productivity

The 'Michurinsky Yubileyny' variety is a breeding product of the I.V. Michurin Federal Scientific Center, designed to combine high ornamental value with an intensive accumulation of vitamin compounds. The key technical advantage of this variety is the concentration of ascorbic acid in the fruits: levels range from 800 to 1200 mg%, making it one of the most valuable sources of vitamin C among Russian-bred rose hips.

Morphological and Operational Parameters

• Plant habit: A compact bush, 1–1.5 m in height. These dimensions are optimal for both mechanized processing and manual harvesting.
• Yield: A stable output of 2–3 kg per bush when standard agricultural practices are followed.
• Color profile: The fruits feature a distinct, saturated red color, which facilitates visual identification of the ripeness stage during harvest.

The practical value of this variety lies in the synergy between garden aesthetics and production output. The culture demonstrates high adaptability to climatic conditions while maintaining its stated fruiting parameters. It is recommended for both home gardening and the establishment of plantations aimed at raw material supply for the food processing industry. The high concentration of nutrients combined with a moderate bush height allows for efficient land use, ensuring ease of maintenance without the need for complex support structures.
