ALTAI DAWN

Sorrel «Altaiai Dawn» is an early-maturing variety with exceptional yield and outstanding taste qualities. Stalks reach lengths up to 70 cm, with a mass ranging from 80 g to 120 g, and their taste combines sweetness with a slight tang. Just 23 days after fruit appearance, they become technically ripe, allowing for quick first harvest. On average, the plant yields up to 4.2 kg per square meter.

The culture is characterized by high disease resistance and frost hardiness, so it can be grown in virtually any climatic conditions. Planting is recommended at a density of 1–2 plants per square meter, with an optimal growth temperature of 16 to 20 °C. Thanks to good adaptability, «Altaiai Dawn» easily grows both in open ground and as a permanent crop.

The variety is rich in beneficial substances: carotenes, carbohydrates, minerals (magnesium, phosphorus, potassium), vitamins C, B, PP, and pectin compounds. The stem contains malic and citric acids, which aid in toxin elimination. This makes the plant valuable for both fresh consumption and canning – as beverages, syrups, pie fillings, and jams.
