PURPLE WITH WHITE TIP

The roots have a round-flat shape, are colored red-purple with a white tip and weigh up to 30 grams. The turnip flesh is white, dense, juicy and sweet, without coarse fibers, which makes it particularly attractive for fresh consumption and culinary use.

The variety is characterized by high cold-hardiness: seeds germinate at temperatures from 1 °C, and optimal conditions for planting are in the range of 4-15 °C. The turnip requires good soil moisture, as lack of moisture leads to the formation of small roots with coarse flesh and deterioration of taste. To obtain harvest at different times, it is recommended to sow in two stages - for summer consumption and winter storage.

"Purple with white tip" is resistant to bolting, high-yielding and has a long shelf life, which makes it convenient for transportation and storage.
