Radish Lantern is a mid-early variety with a period from germination to technical maturity of 23-28 days, intended for growing in open ground in spring, summer, and autumn. The root crops of this variety have an oval shape, pink-red color with a characteristic white tip, with a diameter of 2.5-4.0 cm and a mass of 20-30 grams. They are almost completely submerged in the soil, which promotes their even development and protection from damage.

The flesh of the Lantern radish is white, dense and juicy, slightly pungent in taste, without bitterness and hollowness, which makes it especially attractive for use in fresh salads and other culinary dishes. The variety is characterized by the simultaneous formation of leveled root crops that do not crack, as well as resistance to high temperatures, bolting, and standard diseases, which ensures a stable yield and high quality of the product.

For sowing, the seeds of the Lantern radish are recommended to be sown at a depth of 1-2 cm. To obtain a constant and even yield, sowings are better to carry out in several terms with an interval of 11-13 days. The leaf rosette of this variety is loose and of medium size, which facilitates care for plants and harvesting.
