Twist berries have a uniform elongated-conical shape with a vertical calyx, weighing between 30 to 50 grams. The fruits are bright red, glossy, and firm, ensuring their quality is maintained throughout the season. High sugar content, reaching 11.6%, gives the berries a very sweet flavor that remains even during cool nights. Plants of the Twist variety exhibit a medium-strong, open habit with vertically oriented leaves and a strong root system. The bushes produce many flower clusters and long flowering stems with 6-7 flowers, contributing to high yield and ease of harvesting. Under favorable conditions, one plant can yield up to 900 grams of marketable strawberries, with overall yields reaching approximately 1 kg. The variety is well-suited for cultivation both in open ground and in tunnels, making it versatile for various climatic conditions. In addition to its high yield and berry quality, the Twist strawberry exhibits good resistance to Phytophthora and Verticillium wilt, as well as moderate resistance to powdery mildew.
