SKHEDRA

Skhedra is a large-fruited remontant strawberry hybrid, distinguished by its early fruiting and high yield. The bushes are semi-spreading, 15-18 cm high, fast-growing, with numerous runners bearing rosettes that bloom and bear fruit already in the first year. This creates an impressive cascade covered simultaneously with berries and flowers, making the plant not only productive but also decorative.

The Skhedra variety bears large berries, weighing from 30 to 50 grams, bright red in color with a glossy surface. The flesh is juicy, dense, and very aromatic, with a pleasant sweet-and-sour taste and a slight fruity acidity. Fruiting begins at the end of May – early June and continues until late autumn, allowing one to enjoy fresh berries for a long time. The yield from one bush ranges from 1 to 1.6 kg per season, depending on growing conditions and agronomy.

The variety can be grown in open ground as well as in hanging baskets or containers, making it versatile for various planting types, including decorative vertical structures and even strawberry beds on balconies and terraces. The plants are characterized by strength and endurance, ensuring stable fruiting and high productivity on a small area.
