Strawberry variety Marma is an early-season table variety of Italian origin, distinguished by large, bright red berries of conical shape weighing from 20 to 40 grams. The berries have a sweet-and-sour taste, light pink juicy and firm flesh, and a pleasant aroma. Bushes are vigorous, spherical in shape with dark green, glossy, and strongly ribbed leaves. Flowers are large, white, and bisexual, which promotes good pollination and stable yield.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 700-800 grams of berries per bush, and up to 14.3 tons per hectare. Marma has good winter hardiness and high heat tolerance, while drought tolerance is moderate. The plant is resistant to most common diseases such as brown spot, gray mold, and powdery mildew, but may be sensitive to bacterial burn and anthracnose.

For successful cultivation of Marma strawberries, it is recommended to choose sunny sites with light, fertile soil and good drainage. Regular watering and proper care ensure stable fruiting and high berry quality. Due to its taste qualities and resistance to unfavorable conditions, this variety is suitable both for industrial cultivation and for individual gardeners.
