EARLY DENSE

Early dense strawberry comprises several promising strawberry varieties, distinguished by their early ripening period and excellent taste qualities. Among them are varieties developed in different countries, such as the Italian "Madlen" and the Dutch "Rumba". These varieties are characterized by powerful bushes with semi-spreading or open structure, which facilitates harvesting. Berries ripen in early summer, usually in the first days of June, allowing for fresh fruit in the early season.

The fruits of these varieties are large, weighing from 20 to 40 grams, round-conical in shape with a rich bright-red color and a glossy shine. The flesh is dense, juicy, and aromatic, with a pronounced sweet taste and minimal acidity. The berries lack internal cavities, indicating high fruit quality. The "Rumba" variety is additionally distinguished by red flesh and an aroma reminiscent of forest strawberry, as well as high transportability and maintaining appearance during storage.

These varieties possess high resistance to major diseases, including gray mold, and withstand stressful weather conditions well. They are suitable for cultivation in northern regions due to high frost hardiness. Plants do not require additional pollination, as they form flowers of both sexes, ensuring simultaneous berry ripening and a stable yield of up to 700 grams per bush per season. Due to these qualities, early dense strawberry is an excellent choice for both industrial cultivation and private gardeners.
