Raspberry SHINING

Working with the «Blyestyashchaya» variety

For those looking for reliability in their berry production, the «Blyestyashchaya» variety from FANCA is a standout choice. This isn't a high-maintenance crop that keeps you on your toes; it delivers consistent performance with standard care.

Resilience and Agrotechnics

The biggest challenge for any berry grower is leaf spot disease. «Blyestyashchaya» excels here, showing remarkable resistance to Mycosphaerella leaf spot and brown spot. This translates to fewer fungicide sprays and lower maintenance costs. It’s a medium-care variety that rewards the grower with steady, reliable growth.

Fruit and Yield Characteristics

Early ripening allows you to hit the market when prices are at their highest. The berries weigh in at 3-5 grams and have a striking black color, which stands out instantly at the point of sale. The flavor is a pleasant sweet-and-sour profile, but the real value is its versatility in processing:

• Freezing: The fruit maintains its structure well and doesn't turn mushy after thawing.
• Processing: Excellent for jams, preserves, and juices due to its intense color and rich aroma.

Because of its continuous fruiting cycle, you’ll need to manage your labor to keep up with harvest, but the productivity makes it well worth the effort. For any grower prioritizing a technological, efficient approach to berry farming, this variety is a solid investment.
