Sunflower Cadet

A Reliable Choice for Early Harvest

The «Kadet» sunflower hybrid, developed by the V. Ya. Yuriev Plant Production Institute of the NAAS, is a testament to Ukrainian breeding precision. Designed for regions where early maturity is a priority, this hybrid has become a staple for farmers looking to mitigate climate-related risks through a short, efficient growing cycle.

Key Agronomic Traits

With a vegetation period of 90–100 days, «Kadet» belongs to the ultra-early maturity category. This allows producers to harvest before the onset of extreme late-summer heat and perfectly timing the preparation of fields for subsequent winter crops. As a simple hybrid, it offers consistent development across the field and reliable yield performance under various soil conditions common in Ukraine.
