MARSTRIP is a medium-early hybrid of winter rape, developed by the seed company Maїsadour, intended for cultivation across all of Ukraine. It is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions. Seeds of the hybrid are recommended to be sown into prepared soil at a depth of 1.5 to 3.0 cm, depending on soil type and moisture level. In the spring, plants exhibit vigorous branching with the formation of numerous pods, contributing to high yield. The average plant height is about 150-160 cm, ensuring resistance to lodging and reducing yield loss during harvest.
The MARSTRIP hybrid features strong, well-rooted plants resistant to lodging, which is an important advantage for maintaining yield. The average seed size contains about 47% oil with low glucosinolate content, enhancing product quality. Sowing rate depends on sowing timing and soil moisture: under favorable conditions, 30-40 plants per square meter are recommended, while under challenging conditions, 25-35 plants per square meter. The optimal sowing density is 450-600 thousand seeds per hectare.
MARSTRIP exhibits high plasticity and stability, adapting well to stressful conditions, including drought and low temperatures, confirmed by its winter hardiness and drought resistance. The hybrid is suitable for early sowing and demonstrates moderately intensive growth rates. Due to its combination of high productivity, resistance to adverse factors, and superior seed quality, MARSTRIP is a reliable choice for efficient cultivation of winter rape.
