The winter rapeseed hybrid Graf is a classic early-maturing hybrid selection by Zaatbau, characterized by strong early growth and very early flowering and maturation. It exhibits high winter hardiness and rapid development, making it particularly suitable for late sowing in the forest-steppe zone. Recommended sowing dates range from early (August 10-15) to late (September 1-10), with a seeding rate of 350–600 thousand plants per hectare. Plant height reaches 155-165 cm, and 1000-seed weight is 4.2–5.5 g.

The Graf hybrid is characterized by high yield potential, up to 65 centners per hectare, and high oil content ranging from 45.5–48.7%. Additionally, seed protein content is 21.9–24.8%. Rapeseed is drought-tolerant during the vegetative period, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions.

One of the key features of this hybrid is its high resistance to major diseases such as phoma, sclerotinia, and alternaria. Due to the presence of the RLM-7 gene conferring resistance to phoma, the risk of plant infection is minimal, helping to preserve productivity and yield potential. The hybrid also demonstrates resistance to lodging, which simplifies harvest and reduces losses.
