Mitnytskyi 2

Mitnytskyi 2 is a winter rapeseed variety designed for high yield and characterized by reliability and quality of seed material. Rapeseed seeds are supplied from reputable producers such as Limagrain and Pioneer, ensuring their high quality and compliance with certifications. The seed material has undergone necessary treatments that contribute to increased yield and plant resilience.

Mitnytskyi 2 is characterized by a medium-late maturity period with a vegetation period of approximately 292–323 days. Plants reach a height of 165–170 cm, have round stems of 14–17 mm in diameter, and form 7–8 primary branches. Flowers are bright yellow racemes, 26–37 cm long. Pods are 8–10 cm long, containing 25–31 black, spherical seeds. The 1000-seed mass ranges from 3.0 to 5.0 g.

The variety exhibits high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, making it suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine. Oil content in seeds reaches 45.5%, with low glucosinolate (0.9%) and erucic acid (0.3%) levels, positively affecting product quality. Optimal plant density at harvest is 700–800 thousand per hectare. During state trials, the average yield of the variety reached 28.8 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity and economic efficiency.
