Rapeseed Franki

Austrian Genetics for High-Performance Farming

The winter oilseed rape "Franki" by the Austrian manufacturer Saatbau is a top-tier choice for farmers seeking consistency and technical efficiency. Originated by Franz Blumenshein, this hybrid is designed to thrive under diverse environmental conditions, providing a robust solution for commercial production.

Key Agronomic Features

As a simple linear hybrid, "Franki" is known for its predictable growth pattern. Growing to a height of 150-160 cm with medium branching, it creates a canopy that optimizes light interception. With a recommended seeding rate of 400,000 to 500,000 plants per hectare, it offers flexibility for varying soil types and management practices.

• Yield Potential: The hybrid delivers high yields, reaching 60-70 dt/ha under optimal management conditions.
• Oil Quality: With an oil content of 40-45%, "Franki" is a highly valuable crop for the crushing industry.
• Disease Resistance: One of its main selling points is strong tolerance against Phoma, which significantly reduces the risk of crop loss during the growth cycle.

"Franki" is more than just a seed; it is a dependable asset for agricultural businesses focusing on maximizing oil output and minimizing phytosanitary risks through advanced breeding.
