MARC KWS

MARC KWS — high-yielding winter rapeseed hybrid developed by KWS and adapted for cultivation in Ukraine. This medium-early hybrid features medium plant height and medium autumn development, quickly resuming vegetative growth in spring. The hybrid is characterized by intensive branching and high regenerative capacity, promoting sustained growth even under adverse conditions. Recommended planting density is 400-550 thousand plants per hectare; avoid overplanting to achieve optimal results.

One of the key features of MARC KWS is its high winter hardiness and resistance to stress factors, including lodging, freezing, and fusarium (with RLM7 resistance gene). The hybrid also exhibits enhanced resistance to pod cracking and seed shattering, significantly reducing yield losses. The hybrid’s yield potential reaches 70 centners per hectare, with high oil content in seeds, making it attractive for oilseed production.

MARC KWS is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polesie. Due to its characteristics, it is optimal for mid-season sowing and ensures stable, high yields with proper agronomic practices.
