Sunflower H64BB400

Stability and Protection: The Potential of P64BB400

In the modern agricultural market, Corteva's breeding programs hold a strong position, offering solutions for intensive farming. The P64BB400 sunflower hybrid is a product of American breeding expertise, designed for producers who prioritize the phytosanitary safety of their crops. As infectious backgrounds in fields become a major threat to yield, choosing material with a high level of genetic resistance is no longer just an option, but a strategic necessity.

A Biological Shield for Crops

The main feature of this simple hybrid is its complex resistance to pathogens that limit sunflower productivity. The manufacturer has focused on selecting against the most aggressive diseases that affect the crop in the second half of the vegetation period:

• Verticillium: minimizes premature wilting of plants.
• Phomopsis: ensures stem integrity and proper seed filling.
• Rots: protects the head from infection during the ripening stage.

This genetic base allows agronomists to minimize fungicide application costs, which is critical during periods of unpredictable rainfall that limit field machinery access.

Production Parameters

The vegetation period of P64BB400 is 110-120 days. This classic mid-season segment is optimally suited for most agro-climatic zones. The hybrid demonstrates stable oil accumulation within 35-40%, making it highly attractive to the processing industry. Thanks to its simple hybrid structure, the crops exhibit high uniformity, which simplifies the harvesting process and reduces grain loss.

P64BB400 from Corteva is a choice for professionals focused on predictable outcomes. Despite volatile weather conditions, this material maintains its vitality, ensuring stable yields for the farm even under stress.
