The winter oilseed rape "Capelli KS" from the French breeding center Caussade Semences is a simple linear hybrid designed with a strong focus on phytosanitary stability. Originator Rene Baratin and the Caussade technical team have embedded high tolerance to Sclerotinia and Phoma into the genome. The hybrid displays high intensity of oil accumulation, with values ranging between 45–50%. The optimal plant population at harvest is 400,000 plants per hectare.
