Rapeseed ES Capello is a medium-early winter hybrid selection by the company Lidea, intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. This hybrid features rapid autumn growth and medium-early vegetation recovery in spring, ensuring optimal plant growth phase during autumn. High winter hardiness allows successful overwintering even under adverse conditions, while intensive branching promotes the formation of robust and productive vegetative mass.
ES Capello is characterized by high yield potential, reaching up to 50 centners per hectare, and high oil content in seeds — up to 47.8%. Plants exhibit high resistance to major diseases such as phomopsis and sclerotinia, as well as to pod cracking, which reduces yield losses and improves product quality. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates resistance to lodging and excessive growth, facilitating agronomic operations and enhancing yield stability.
For sowing, the classical cultivation technology is recommended with a seeding rate of 350–450 thousand seeds per hectare, corresponding to a density of 35–45 plants per square meter. Seeds are supplied in packages of 1.5 million. Due to its adaptability and stability, ES Capello ensures maximum yield under various climatic conditions while reducing chemical load on the ecosystem, making it an ecologically advantageous choice for modern farmers.
