ES Katia — this is an early winter rapeseed hybrid selected by Lidea, intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. The hybrid is characterized by high stability and plasticity, as well as intensive branching, which ensures good adaptation to weak and medium-quality soils. ES Katia responds well to soils with high agrofond, contributing to increased yield.
Oil content in the seeds reaches 47.8%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed industry. Rapeseed has high cold and drought resistance, as well as resistance to main diseases such as phomopsis and sclerotinia. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is the OGURA system, providing high resistance to pod cracking, which reduces yield losses and improves seed quality. In addition, the seeds contain 10.4% Omega-3 fatty acids, enhancing their nutritional and biological value.
ES Katia is characterized by rapid autumn development and stable yield, which can reach 50 centners per hectare under optimal growing conditions. The recommended sowing density is 35–45 plants per square meter, which promotes efficient use of area and resources. Thanks to its agronomic qualities and resistance to adverse factors, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality rapeseed yields.
