KWS FARRY CL

KWS FARRY CL — this is a medium-early hybrid of winter rape, developed by the breeding company KWS for cultivation using Clearfield technology. It is characterized by rapid autumn development and early flowering, which contributes to efficient water use and rapid vegetation recovery in spring. The hybrid is suitable for mid to late sowing dates, possesses high winter hardiness and medium plant height, making it versatile for various climatic conditions.

One of the key advantages of KWS FARRY CL is its high resistance to major diseases and adverse factors. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to phoma (RLM7), lodging, frost damage, and drought, as well as medium resistance to alternaria, verticillium, white spot, and sclerotinia. Additionally, it demonstrates increased resistance to pod cracking and seed shattering, which helps preserve yield and reduce losses during harvest.

The KWS FARRY CL hybrid shows high yield potential — up to 60 centners per hectare — along with high oil content and optimal glucosinolate content (17-18 μmol/h). The recommended sowing rate is 400-500 thousand seeds per hectare, with a preference for applying growth regulators in autumn to improve sowing structure. Rape is successfully grown in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine, confirming its adaptability and stability under various agroclimatic conditions.
