DK SEPHOR Rapeseed is a medium-early winter hybrid developed by Dekalb, intended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe regions. It is distinguished by high winter hardiness and resistance to extreme wintering conditions, making it an optimal choice for early sowing dates. Plants reach a height of 110 to 130 cm, have a compact habit, and slow autumn development, which contributes to efficient water and nutrient accumulation. The hybrid demonstrates stable yields of up to 60 centners per hectare with proper agronomic practices.

DK SEPHOR is characterized by high resistance to major diseases such as phoma and sclerotinia, as well as lodging and pod cracking. It exhibits high drought tolerance and plasticity, enabling efficient use of water and fertilizers. The recommended seeding rate is 400–600 thousand seeds per hectare, and the hybrid responds well to optimal and increased seeding densities. To enhance winter hardiness at early sowing dates, the use of growth regulators is recommended, particularly in areas with high wintering risks.

The hybrid is suitable for cultivation on various soil types, including sandy-loam, loamy, and clay soils. Optimal sowing dates vary from July 15 to August 10, with sowing possible until September 5, although later dates are not recommended. Due to its resistance to spring frosts and the ability to delay harvest by 10–15 days, DK SEPHOR provides flexibility in agronomic practices and ensures stable production of high-quality yields.
