Rapeseed Despina

Maximizing Canola Yields with Mas Seeds Genetics

For agricultural enterprises focusing on reducing fungicide usage without compromising performance, the Despina variety from the French breeder Mas Seeds represents a strategic solution. Designed to thrive in challenging conditions with high infection pressure, this variety offers robust defense against a broad spectrum of leaf diseases.

Advanced Phytosanitary Resistance

The core advantage of Despina lies in its strong genetic profile, which allows producers to minimize the risk of yield losses caused by Mycospharella spot, Rhynchosporium, powdery mildew, and brown spot. By selecting Despina, agronomists can effectively reduce the number of fungicide applications, leading to significant savings in production costs and improved sustainability.

• Cost Efficiency: Fewer field operations mean lower expenditure on chemical inputs and machinery maintenance.
• Predictable Performance: Developed by Mas Seeds, this variety ensures high germination rates and vigorous initial growth.
• Elite Breeding: As both originator and patent holder, Mas Seeds maintains strict quality control over every seed batch.

In field practice, Despina demonstrates exceptional adaptability to various cultivation technologies. Its strong disease resistance ensures that the crop maintains healthy photosynthetic activity throughout the vegetative phase, resulting in more uniform maturity and easier harvesting. This variety is an ideal choice for growers aiming for high-yield reliability and optimized input management in their canola production cycle.
