SY Annabella is a mid-late winter rapeseed hybrid selection by Syngenta, with a high yield potential up to 50 centners per hectare and excellent winter hardiness. Plants have a medium height ranging from 150 to 170 cm, depending on water availability, and are characterized by slow autumn development with moderate-intensity spring growth. This feature allows the hybrid to be sown early, facilitating successful adaptation to various climatic conditions.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to phomopsis, lodging, and cold, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in all rapeseed-growing regions of Ukraine, including the Forest Steppe, Polissia, and Steppe. The recommended seeding rate is 450–600 thousand seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant density and maximum productivity. Seeds are packed in heavy paper bags of 1.5 million units, guaranteeing high quality, excellent germination, and sprouting.
In addition, SY Annabella has a high oil content — around 47% — which significantly increases the economic efficiency of cultivation. Thanks to its combination of high yield potential, disease resistance, and resilience to adverse weather conditions, this hybrid is a popular choice among farmers seeking a stable and profitable rapeseed harvest.
