Hybrid sunflower 'Cuba' is a mid-season variety with a vegetation period of about 105-118 days. It is characterized by medium plant height of 160 to 180 cm and large heads with proper inclination, ensuring efficient harvesting without losses. The black seeds have low oil content, facilitating processing and improving the quality of the final product.

Hybrid 'Cuba' exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including seven races of downy mildew (A-G), as well as to white and gray mold, rust, and lodging. Due to these traits and drought tolerance, it is recommended for cultivation in arid regions, making it a reliable choice for the North Caucasus, Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and Western Siberian regions.

The oil content of the hybrid is 49-51%, and maximum yields can reach 45 centners per hectare, with an average yield in the North Caucasus region of about 24.8 centners per hectare. The 1000-seed weight is 53.1 g. The hybrid demonstrates stable productivity and meets quality standards, as confirmed by test reports and certificates.
