ED 127 is a medium-early linoleic-type sunflower hybrid characterized by high stable yield and good oil content. The vegetation period is approximately 92-95 days, and plant height varies from 155 to 180 cm. The hybrid features single-head stems resistant to lodging, and at maturity, the heads have a slightly convex shape and are semi-tilted downward, facilitating combine harvesting. The 1000-seed mass is 65-67 g, and the oil content is 23-24%.

The ED 127 hybrid exhibits high resistance to complex high-virulence races of downy mildew and genetic resistance to false powdery mildew, ensuring reliable plant protection under challenging climatic conditions. It is also tolerant to verticillium wilt, rust, and unaffected by sunflower rust. Due to these qualities, the hybrid demonstrates high resilience and stable yield even under drought conditions.

The recommended planting density depends on soil moisture levels: 50-55 thousand plants per hectare with adequate moisture, 45-50 thousand with unstable moisture, and 35-45 thousand with insufficient moisture. The hybrid performs well on fertile soils and with high agronomic practices. Potential yield is 3.5-4.2 t/ha, oil content 48-54%, ensuring high oil output per hectare. ED 127 is suitable for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, making it a versatile choice for various regions.
