Absolut

Absolut is a mid-season winter rapeseed hybrid of the new generation, characterized by high yield and adaptability. It features high oil content and low glucosinolate levels (less than 15 g/mmol), making it valuable for producing high-quality raw material. Optimal sowing time is late spring; vegetative growth and flowering occur in mid-early stages, with a potential yield of 70 centners/ha. Recommended sowing rate is 350-450 thousand seeds/ha, depending on growing conditions.

The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major diseases and stress factors. It carries genes for resistance to turnip yellow virus (TuYV) and fusarium (gene RLM7), and shows high tolerance to white mold, fungal infections, and verticillium. Absolut is also resistant to pod cracking, lodging, and drought, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. Its winter hardiness is rated as high, enabling successful cultivation in regions with harsh winters.

Additionally, the hybrid quickly shades weeds due to its strong branching, which reduces water evaporation and enhances moisture retention in the soil. These features make Absolut especially suitable for wide-row plantings.
