Radish URAL EXPRESS

Rapid Harvesting for High-Intensity Farming

The «Uralsky Express» radish, developed by the «Heterosis Breeding» (Geterozisnaya Selektsiya) company, is a professional-grade selection tailored for growers who prioritize time-to-market. With a maturity cycle of just 20–25 days, this variety is designed for operations that require multiple harvests in a single season.

Practical Application in the Field

• Spring and Autumn Cycles: The variety demonstrates reliable performance in early spring greenhouse production and late-summer open-field planting. It adapts well to the changing light conditions typical of these transition seasons.
• Uniformity for Retail: Each root weighs between 25–30 grams and features a classic, vibrant red color and a perfect round shape. This uniformity is crucial for commercial farming, as it reduces sorting time and waste during post-harvest handling.
• Crop Management: To achieve the target weight of 30 grams, consistent soil moisture is essential. The variety responds well to fertile soil and prefers standard spacing to prevent overcrowding, which ensures the development of high-quality, crisp roots.

By leveraging the genetics provided by A.V. Aliluev and T.V. Shtaynert, farmers can effectively utilize «Uralsky Express» as a reliable component of their crop rotation strategy. Its high marketable yield directly supports better profit margins, making it a preferred choice for producers who need a predictable and fast-growing crop.
