Radish VELLA

VELLA radish is an early-maturing hybrid that matures within 25-30 days after sowing. The root has an oval shape and a smooth, red-purple skin, while the pulp is distinguished by its creamy-white color, juiciness, and crisp texture. The average fruit diameter is about 2.5-3 cm, and the weight reaches 25-30 grams. At the same time, the leaf rosette remains compact, which facilitates care and harvesting. The radish taste is pleasant, with a slight spiciness, but without sharp notes, making it universal for fresh consumption and in salads.

VELLA hybrid is characterized by high resistance to various diseases, including alternaria, powdery mildew, clubroot, and fusarium. It is also resistant to bolting and fruit cracking, which ensures stable crop quality. Radishes are well adapted to growing in various conditions: in greenhouses all year round, using cover materials for maximum early harvests, as well as in open ground. The plant is shade-tolerant and cold-hardy, capable of quickly recovering from stress.

To successfully grow radish VELLA, it is recommended to use well-drained, loose soils with a neutral pH level. It prefers sunny areas but can withstand partial shade. Care includes regular watering, soil loosening, and weed removal. Due to its characteristics and resistance, this hybrid is suitable for fresh market realization and use in fresh salads and vegetable cuts, maintaining elasticity and an attractive appearance after harvesting.
