Radish Panter

Consistent Black Radish Yields Across All Seasons

Working with the 'Panter' variety from the Czech company Semo reveals it to be one of the most reliable choices for black radish producers. Its primary advantage is adaptability. Unlike more sensitive varieties, 'Panter' performs consistently in the field, whether sown in the spring or during the summer-autumn cycle. This flexibility allows growers to plan a continuous market supply without unnecessary risks.

Agronomic Features and Marketability

The root crop features a classic round-flat shape, which significantly simplifies the harvesting and sorting process. The firm black skin provides excellent protection for the inner flesh against damage during mechanical harvesting or transit. Notably, the variety responds well to standard agricultural practices; adequate irrigation and timely fertilization translate into uniform, dense roots.

Practical Management Tips

• Sowing schedule: The variety shows excellent plasticity. While spring cultivation requires monitoring light exposure, 'Panter' demonstrates strong resistance to premature bolting.
• Soil requirements: The best yield results are recorded in light, sandy-loam soils, where the roots develop mass and shape most efficiently.
• Post-harvest: Thanks to its dense internal structure, this radish is suitable for short-term storage, maintaining its juiciness and flavor profile for an extended period after harvest.

If you are looking for a variety that won't fail mid-season and will deliver predictable results in terms of shape and color, the Czech breeding from Semo is an top-tier option. It is a reliable tool for professional growers that is both easy to maintain and highly marketable.
