Levina

Levina F1 is an early hybrid of the pickling cucumber type, intended for growing in open ground and under temporary coverings. The plant has a predominantly female flowering type and is bee-pollinated, ensuring stable and high yields. Fruits reach lengths of 8 to 15 cm, have a light-green color with moderate ridges and a thin skin that does not toughen over time. The weight of one cucumber is about 70 grams, and the fruits do not outgrow, maintaining uniformity of shape and color.

The Levina hybrid is characterized by high resistance to stress conditions, such as elevated temperatures, as well as to major cucumber diseases, including mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and powdery mildew. Genetically, the fruits are free from bitterness, making them especially attractive for fresh consumption and processing. The plant is recommended to be sown after the threat of frost, when the soil temperature reaches 10-12 °C, at a depth of 3-4 cm.
