The «Novorіchna» variety belongs to medium-sized quince trees with a compact round crown, which ensures ease of care and balanced branch distribution. Fruits reach a mass of 320 to 400 grams, have a uniform round shape and a slightly ribbed surface, while the skin is bright yellow, smooth with a slight fuzz. The flesh is light cream, juicy, finely-grained and aromatic, making the fruit particularly pleasant to taste.
The chemical composition of the fruits is characterized by a high content of dry matter (20.8 %) and sugars (9.0 %), as well as a significant level of vitamin C – 35.4 mg/100 g. These indicators ensure not only sweetness but also the useful properties of the product. Fruits are preserved for 70-90 days under proper storage conditions, which makes them convenient for long-term use.
The variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, resistance to fungal diseases and excellent yield. The tree begins fruiting already in the third year after planting and fruits regularly, ensuring a stable income for the gardener. Universal application of «Novorіchna» allows using it both as fresh fruit product and in culinary products, desserts and preserves.
