The 'Smile' pumpkin variety is an early-maturing and high-yielding bush variety, characterized by rapid ripening and cold hardiness. The vegetation period is about 85 days, which allows harvesting as soon as three months after germination. Plants form up to six short shoots, on which up to seven fruits are borne simultaneously, ensuring high yields of 4 to 9 kg per bush. The bush form of the plant facilitates care and reduces labor costs when growing on household plots.

The fruits of the 'Smile' pumpkin have a flat-round or slightly flattened shape with a weight ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 kg. The skin is smooth, of medium thickness, and bright orange in color. The pulp is dense, crispy, and sweet, with a characteristic melon aroma, making this variety attractive both for fresh consumption and processing. The seeds are treated with a complex of friendly bacteria that stimulate plant growth and provide protection against diseases.

This pumpkin variety was bred by specialists of GNI VNIISOK more than fifteen years ago and since then has proven itself as a reliable and easy-to-grow vegetable.
