Wheat Vozdvizhenka is an winter variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe zones. This variety belongs to the medium-maturing group with a vegetation period of 278-283 days and is characterized by high winter hardiness, rated at 9 points. Vozdvizhenka exhibits resistance to lodging, grain shattering, ear fusarium, and drought, making it a reliable choice for intensive agriculture under various climatic conditions. The recommended seeding rate is 4.0-5.0 million seeds per hectare. The wheat grain of Vozdvizhenka is characterized by good quality with raw gluten content ranging from 24.0-28.3%, ensuring high nutritional value. Additionally, protein content varies from 11 to 15%, and vitamins of groups B and E are present. Moisture content does not exceed 15%, which facilitates long-term storage and retention of properties. Due to these characteristics, wheat is widely used in animal husbandry for producing compound feeds and feed mixes. The variety is distinguished by increased plasticity and resistance to adverse conditions, enabling stable yields even under climate changes. However, it should be noted that high starch and gluten content in the grain may cause colic in animals if improperly used, so proper feeding guidelines must be followed. Despite this, wheat Vozdvizhenka enjoys market demand, although purchase prices in the region are slightly lower than in other parts of Ukraine.
