Potato Chernihivska 98

Stable Yields in Early Harvest Cycles

The "Chernihivska 98" variety from NVO "Chernihivelitkartoplya" is a strategic choice for growers focused on high-quality table potatoes with a rapid growth cycle. Field Performance and Agrotechnics

The defining strength of this potato is its ease of handling during storage and logistics. The shallow eye depth, smooth skin, and uniform oval shape ensure an attractive commercial appearance, which is crucial for retail chain supply. The creamy flesh delivers the excellent taste profile associated with high-end Ukrainian table varieties.

Why Choose Chernihivska 98:

• Stress Resistance: The variety shows reliable resilience against late blight and common scab. This trait allows for fewer fungicide applications, directly lowering your input costs.
• Reliability: Genetically adapted by NVO "Chernihivelitkartoplya" to the Ukrainian climate, it provides predictable results even under varying moisture conditions.
• Marketability: Even, uniform tubers require minimal cleaning and sorting before packaging.

This variety is optimal for farms seeking to balance early maturity with robust resistance to common soil-borne pathogens. By integrating "Chernihivska 98" into your crop rotation, you can significantly mitigate losses caused by scab, which is particularly beneficial in regions with a high pathogen load.
