VOLGA 8 is a semi-dwarf clonal rootstock specifically developed for cold-resistant conditions. The trees reach a height of about 3.6 m and begin fruiting as early as the third or fourth year after planting, ensuring a quick return on investment.
The rootstock is characterized by high cold resistance: cuttings root at a level of 4.0–4.5 points, and yield reaches 120–150 thousand t/ha with proper agronomy. The wood is strong, the bushes are neat and compact, which facilitates processing and harvesting.
VOLGA 8 is compatible with most modern cultivation systems, responds well to intensive agronomy, and ensures a bountiful harvest. Thanks to its characteristics, this rootstock is especially suitable for regions with similar climatic conditions where high cold resistance and disease resistance are required.
