Sunflower variety Kharkivskiy 3 is a high-yielding plant with pronounced resistance to diseases, particularly to downy mildew, rust, and false powdery mildew. The vegetation period lasts approximately 100-105 days, allowing this variety to be cultivated under various climatic conditions, including the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine. The plant reaches a height of 175-180 cm, features a large flower head with a diameter of 21-25 cm, which is oriented downward, helping protect seeds from adverse weather conditions. A well-developed root system ensures good resistance to stresses such as drought and cold, as well as contributes to stable yields.

The yield of variety Kharkivskiy 3 reaches 50 centners per hectare under optimal plant density of 45,000-50,000 plants per hectare. The thousand-seed mass is approximately 82 grams, and the oil content in the seeds reaches 50%, making this variety attractive for oil production. It is recommended to avoid excessive application of nitrogen fertilizers and overly high planting density to reduce the risk of lodging and ensure maximum productivity.

The variety is suitable for cultivation on various soil types and in different regions of Ukraine, making it a versatile choice for farmers. Cultivation technology can be either traditional or modern, including methods under 'euro-lighting' and 'granstar'. Seed production is conducted by leading institutes and companies, ensuring high-quality planting material and stable yield performance.
