Sunflower Kharkivskiy 7

Stable yields with minimized risks

"Kharkivskyi 7" is a breeding product from the V. Ya. Yuriev Plant Production Institute, developed to meet the need for technological flexibility in modern farming. This sunflower hybrid, adapted for the Clearfield production system, allows for efficient weed control without compromising yield potential.

Key advantages

• Technological independence: Resistance to imidazolinone herbicides (Euro-Lightning) enables effective control of all broomrape races and a broad spectrum of weeds in a single pass.
• Oil content: A high oil content of 50-55% makes the harvest highly sought after by processors, ensuring competitive pricing.
• Vegetation period: The 110-120 day maturity window is the "golden mean," allowing the crop to fill properly while avoiding autumn weather instability.

Who is this hybrid for?

"Kharkivskyi 7" is ideal for farmers operating in fields with high weed pressure and significant broomrape risks. The plant height of 170-190 cm provides a vigorous habit that outcompetes weeds during the early growth stages. While the reliance on herbicides requires careful crop rotation, this is a standard protocol for intensive farming operations.

If you are looking for predictable results without surprises in crop uniformity or climate dependence, this hybrid from the Yuriev Institute is a reliable pillar for your crop rotation strategy.
