Sunflower Shans

Field Performance of the "Shans" Sunflower Hybrid

When planning a season, the goal is always stability under variable weather conditions. As a simple hybrid, it ensures consistent germination and even crop development across the entire field.

Field Protection and Resilience

The main argument for choosing "Shans" is its strong phytosanitary resilience. In high-humidity conditions, where neighboring plots might struggle with fungal infections, this hybrid stands firm. This is a significant operational advantage, lowering both chemical costs and equipment usage.

Harvest Economics

The seeds are medium-to-large in size, making combine adjustments straightforward and keeping harvest losses to a minimum. With an oil content of 50-55%, this hybrid commands better market prices at oil extraction plants. The black color of the fully-filled seeds is a clear visual indicator of high crop quality.

• Predictability: Steady development without stress-related growth stalls.
• Cost Efficiency: Less reliance on intensive fungicide protection due to natural immunity.
• Quality: High oil content ensuring better market value.
• Operation: Easy harvesting with optimal maturation timing.

If you are looking for a reliable solution that performs well on commercial plots and is forgiving of minor technological variations, "Shans" is an excellent choice that consistently delivers for the owner.
