Sunflower 1003L is a mid-season hybrid developed using Clearfield® Plus technology, offering high yield and resistance to various climatic conditions. This hybrid is characterized by universal adaptability, medium plant height with a strong stem and well-developed leaf mass. The tilted head facilitates harvesting, and the thousand-seed weight ranges from 52 to 60 grams. Thanks to its new genetics, 1003L exhibits high drought tolerance, confirmed by a 9 out of 9 drought resistance rating, making it a reliable choice for regions with limited water availability. The hybrid shows high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including Phomopsis, Phomosis, black mold, Verticillium, rust, and Alternaria. The disease resistance level varies from 8 to 9 points, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses. Additionally, sunflower 1003L demonstrates high resistance to races of downy mildew A-G and false powdery mildew (PL9). High oil content in seeds, reaching 48-50%, provides additional economic benefit during processing. The recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions: under insufficient moisture, the optimal density is 55,000–60,000 plants per hectare, while under adequate moisture, it is 60,000–65,000 plants per hectare. The hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 55 centners per hectare, confirming its potential across various climatic zones. To enhance cultivation efficiency, it is recommended to apply microelements and humates after herbicide treatment, which promotes improved plant growth and development.
