Sunflower 1044L SU is a medium-early hybrid with a vegetation period of 109-111 days, intended for cultivation under moderately intensive conditions. It is adapted to the Express® technology, which ensures effective weed control and contributes to stable high yields. The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type and is characterized by a semi-lean position of the head, facilitating harvesting and improving its quality.

One of the key advantages of 1044L SU is the high oil content in seeds, reaching 49-51%, making it attractive to the oilseed industry. The recommended seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 50-55 thousand under adequate moisture. The package contains 150,000 seeds, which is convenient for planning sowing operations.

The hybrid demonstrates good tolerance to a wide spectrum of diseases, including Phomopsis, head and stem sclerotinia, rust, verticillium, and charcoal rot, as well as resistance to races of downy mildew (group F). Recommended cultivation zones include the Northern Steppe, Forest Steppe, and Polесье, indicating its versatility and adaptability to various climatic conditions.
