Sunflower 5053L SU is a mid-season hybrid with a maturity group of 116-125 days, developed by Lidea. This variety features an intensive growth type and high yield potential, exceeding 5 tons per hectare. Due to its adaptation to herbicides Express® 75 WG and Express® Gold 75 WG, it ensures ease of agronomic management and effective weed control.

The hybrid exhibits high genetic resistance to downy mildew (levels A–G) and major diseases such as fusarium, false powdery mildew, verticillium wilt, sclerotinia, and rust. This allows maintaining yield even under extreme conditions and reduces the risk of losses. Additionally, sunflower 5053L SU is characterized by excellent resistance to lodging, which contributes to maintaining the quality and volume of the harvest.

Oil content in seeds ranges from 47-49%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed production. Recommended planting density varies depending on the growing region: in areas with insufficient moisture, the optimal density is 50-55 thousand plants per hectare, while in regions with adequate moisture, it is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare. Sunflower 5053L SU successfully grows in various climatic zones, including Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe, demonstrating stable and high results.
