1018L CLP

Sunflower 1018L CLP is a mid-season hybrid developed using Clearfield® Plus technology, characterized by high yield and universal adaptability to various climatic conditions. This hybrid has medium plant height with a strong stem and well-developed leaf mass, as well as a tilted head, which facilitates harvest. Seed thousand weight ranges from 52 to 60 grams, and oil content in seeds is 46–50%, ensuring high oil yield.

Hybrid 1018L CLP exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including Phomopsis, Phomosis, Verticillium, rust, black mold, and Alternaria, with resistance ratings of 8–9 points. Additionally, it has high drought and heat tolerance, enabling successful cultivation across all climatic zones without restrictions. New hybrid genetics also provide resistance to races of Sclerotinia A-G and false powdery mildew (PL9).

Agronomic characteristics of the hybrid include high initial growth energy, resistance to lodging, and optimal planting density depending on soil moisture: 55,000–60,000 plants per hectare under low moisture conditions and 60,000–65,000 plants per hectare under adequate moisture. Thanks to this combination of traits, sunflower 1018L CLP is a reliable choice for achieving stable and high yields under various growing conditions.
