Sunflower 1021L CLP is a mid-early hybrid developed using Clearfield Plus technology, offering high resistance to weeds and diseases. This hybrid is distinguished by its high drought and heat tolerance, making it a leader in its segment for adaptability to adverse climatic conditions. Thanks to the presence of the PL6 gene, 1021L CLP is resistant to new races of downy mildew (A-G) and false powdery mildew, significantly enhancing harvest reliability.
Plants reach a height of 140–160 cm, with a maturity period of 105–115 days, allowing flexible planting scheduling. The yield potential ranges from 3.4 to 3.9 tons per hectare with an oil content of about 49%. The recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 35–40 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, 40–45 thousand under unstable conditions, and up to 55–60 thousand per hectare under adequate moisture.
The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various soil-climate conditions, particularly in the steppe regions of the South-East. Seeds are treated with the insecticide Cruiser (Thiamethoxam 350 g/l) for protection against pests. High resistance to diseases such as fomopsis, sclerotinia, downy mildew, white rot, and rust ensures stable and high-quality yields. The use of Clearfield Plus technology enables effective weed control, contributing to the full realization of the hybrid’s potential.
