ADAZI

ADAZI sunflower is a mid-ripening hybrid adapted for cultivation in the forest-steppe, northern and central steppe regions of Ukraine. This hybrid features strong initial growth energy and consistently delivers high yields even with minimal agronomic practices. The maturity period ranges from 116 to 125 days, and plant height reaches 170–180 cm, providing optimal conditions for yield formation.

The ADAZI hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, sclerotinia, downy mildew, white mold, and rust, scoring 8 points on a 10-point resistance scale. It is also resistant to various races of the parasitic weed — downy mildew (A-E). Due to its drought tolerance and compatibility with different soil treatment methods, ADAZI demonstrates high yield stability and is suitable for cultivation under varying moisture levels.

The hybrid’s yield potential is 3.5–3.9 tons per hectare with oil content around 49%. The recommended plant density at harvest depends on moisture conditions: 35–45 thousand plants per hectare in dry conditions, up to 50–55 thousand in well-watered conditions. ADAZI seeds are treated with Cruiser (Thiamethoxam 350 g/L), providing additional protection and promoting successful plant development. This hybrid is an original variety with certified quality and widely used in agriculture for oil and sunflower seed production.
