The hybrid sunflower 9180DMR is a high-yielding oleic type variety, designed for cultivation under various soil-climatic conditions, especially in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine. This medium-maturing hybrid with a vegetation period of 106-115 days is characterized by large black seeds and large heads, which contribute to a high yield potential of up to 48 centners per hectare. Plant height reaches 160-180 cm, and the 1000-seed mass is approximately 72 g, indicating good development and seed quality.
One of the key features of 9180DMR is its high oil content, reaching 47-49%, and oleic acid content ranging from 88-92%, making the oil from this hybrid especially valuable for the food industry. The hybrid demonstrates excellent resistance to various diseases, including Phomopsis, white mold, downy mildew, and rust, with resistance ratings of 8 to 10 points. In addition, it exhibits high resistance to new races of Sclerotinia (A-E) and seven races of powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss.
Hybrid 9180DMR is characterized by high germination energy (96%) and uniformity (97%), as well as low seed moisture (about 6%), ensuring good germination rates and ease of storage. Resistance to root rot and the ability to maintain high yields even under extreme conditions make this hybrid a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower crop.
